정희경 작가는 1969년 생으로 빛을 주제로 한 작품 세계를 구축하며, ‘속삭이는 빛(Whispering Light)’ 시리즈를 통해 15년 이상 전시 활동을 지속해온 작가이다. 수원대학교 미술대학 서양화과를 졸업하고 동 대학원에서 석사 과정을 마친 그는, 페인팅과 라이트를 활용한 독창적인 표현 기법을 통해 내면의 빛과 감성을 시각적으로 형상화하고 있다.

Artist Heekyung Chung
Born in 1969, artist Heekyung Chung has established a unique artistic world centered around light. Through her long-standing Whispering Light series, she has been actively exhibiting for over 15 years. A graduate of the Department of Western Painting at Suwon University, she also earned her master’s degree from the same university.. Using a distinctive technique that combines painting and light, she visually embodies inner light and emotions. 

The Overlapping of Light and Emotional Expression
In Chung, Heekyung's works, light is not merely a source of illumination but a medium that explores the depth of existence. By layering numerous colors, she expresses the beauty and joy of light, emphasizing its warmth and benevolence. Particularly through her use of light-based techniques, she captures the mystical transformations of light, infusing her works with cosmic mystery and emotional depth.

  In 2025, she will present her Whispering Light series at Pink Gallery (Samcheong-dong) and Paris Koh Fine Arts (New Jersey, USA). Her past solo exhibitions include Angelie Museum (Gyeonggi-do, 2024), Art Bull Gallery (Seoul, 2023), and JH Gallery (Seoul, 2023).
• Art Fairs & Group Exhibitions:
  She has consistently participated in major domestic and international art fairs, including the Korea Galleries Art Fair (COEX, Seoul, 2024), Busan International Galleries Art Fair (BAMA, BEXCO, 2023), and the Yeosu International Art Festival (Yeosu Expo, 2021).
