핑크갤러리는 오는 2025년 9월 17일부터 30일까지 최재섭(Jessup Choi) 개인전「존재의 놀이터 (Playground of Existence)」를 개최합니다.
이번 전시는 작가가 일상과 내면, 그리고 인간 존재의 다채로운 층위를 밝고 긍정적인 에너지로 풀어낸 작품들로 구성됩니다. 당신의 미소를 보여주세요. Show Your Smile, 사랑을 보여주세요 Show Your Love, 평화를 보여주세요 Show Your Peace 시리즈를 비롯하여 영원히 Forever, 또 다른 삶The Other Life, 내면을 들여다보다 Look Inward 등의 작품은 관람객을 향해 직접 말을 걸듯 다가오며, 사랑·행복·평화·성찰이라는 보편적 메시지를 전달합니다.
“존재의 놀이터”라는 제목처럼, 그의 작업은 삶 자체를 유희의 장(場)으로 바라봅니다. 진지함과 가벼움, 내적 성찰과 외적 표현, 추상과 구상이 서로 뒤섞이며 관객에게 삶은 결국 놀이터와 같으며, 그 안에서 우리는 웃고, 사랑하고, 평화를 찾는다는 메시지를 전합니다.

This exhibition brings together Choi’s vibrant and optimistic works, exploring the multiple dimensions of human existence—ranging from everyday emotions to deep introspection. Through signature series such as Show Your Smile, Show Your Love, Show Your Peace, alongside works like Forever, The Other Life, and Look Inward, the artist directly engages with viewers to convey universal themes of love, happiness, peace, and reflection.
As the title Playground of Existence suggests, Choi perceives life itself as a playground. His works embrace both seriousness and lightness, abstraction and figuration, contemplation and expression, ultimately reminding us that life is a playground where we laugh, love, and find peace.
