희망은 거창한 곳에서 시작되지 않습니다. 한 송이 꽃, 밤하늘의 별, 어린 시절의 영웅, 그리고 일상 속 작은 순간들이 삶을 다시 일으켜 세우는 힘이 됩니다. *《희망을 그리다》**는 서로 다른 시선으로 희망을 이야기하는 세 명의 작가를 소개합니다.

권지은은 전통 화조도의 아름다움을 현대적으로 풀어냅니다. 모란과 공작새, 새와 꽃이 어우러진 화면은 풍요와 평안, 그리고 생명의 기운을 담고 있습니다. 이번 전시에서는 담홍조 공작새 영상도 함께 설치되어, 작품 속 생명력이 공간 안에서 더욱 생생하게 이어집니다. 스텔라 킴은 어린 시절 우리에게 꿈과 용기를 심어 주었던 만화영화의 영웅 아톰을 현대적인 감성으로 재해석합니다. 하늘을 향해 날아오르는 아톰과 밝고 유쾌한 색채는 "오늘도 희망을 향해 나아가자"는 메시지를 전하며, 관람객에게 잊고 있던 용기와 동심을 떠올리게 합니다. 이용태는 별과 사랑을 담은 스테인리스 조각과 부엉이 조각을 통해 희망을 입체적으로 표현합니다. 별은 꿈과 미래를, 부엉이는 지혜와 행운을 상징하며, 회화와는 또 다른 방식으로 공간 속 희망을 완성합니다.

세 작가는 서로 다른 표현 방식을 사용하지만, 모두 우리에게 같은 질문을 건넵니다. "오늘 당신은 어떤 희망을 그리고 있습니까?" 이번 전시가 바쁜 일상 속에서 잠시 멈춰 서서 희망을 마주하는 따뜻한 시간이 되기를 바랍니다.

Hope does not always begin with something grand. It often emerges from a single flower, a star-filled night sky, childhood heroes, and the small moments of everyday life that quietly inspire us to move forward. Drawing Hope brings together three artists who explore the meaning of hope through distinct artistic perspectives.

Jieun Kwon reinterprets the beauty of traditional Korean Hwajodo (Bird-and-Flower Painting) in a contemporary context. Her compositions of peonies, peacocks, birds, and blossoms embody abundance, harmony, and the vitality of nature. The exhibition also features a video installation of her Pink Peacock, extending the life and movement of her paintings beyond the canvas. Stella Kim reimagines Astro Boy, the beloved childhood hero who inspired generations with dreams, courage, and optimism. Through vibrant colors and playful imagery, her paintings encourage viewers to embrace hope, rediscover the joy of childhood, and continue moving forward with confidence. Yongtae Lee expresses hope through stainless steel sculptures featuring stars, the word Love, and an owl. The star symbolizes dreams and the future, while the owl represents wisdom and good fortune. His sculptural works add a three-dimensional presence that complement the paintings and enriches the exhibition space.

Although each artist employs a different visual language, they ultimately ask the same question:
"What kind of hope are you drawing today?" May this exhibition offer a quiet moment to pause, reflect, and rediscover hope amid the rhythms of everyday life.
