Pink Gallery에서는 김연규의 Botanical Garden 개인전을 4월 13일부터 25일까지 전시합니다. 캔버스에 Stone Powder 와 Acrylic을 사용한 그의 최근 작품 11점에서는 작가의 자연애가 느껴지며 그 우아한 색과 평온함은 어느덧 작품을 감상하는 이의 마음에 휴식과 아름다움을 선사하여 어떤 사랑처럼 흐르게 됩니다. 이런 그의 색상은 마치 우아한 우리 여인의 한복을 연상하게도 하지만 고풍스러운 유럽의 우아한 여인과 비너스를 연상시키기도 합니다. 또한 사막의 오아시스 같은 분위기에서 우리의 영혼과 육체가 잠시 휴식할만한 공간이 감상자의 내부 안에 형성되어짐을 느끼게 합니다.

Pink Gallery is very pleased to announce Botanical Garden by Yeonkyu Kim. For this show the artist is showing his very recent 11 paintings, using stone powder and acrylic on canvas. From the work of his, the viewer gets to feel love of the nature, elegance, and peace. Then, these feelings become a certain love and flow in the viewer’s heart. Also the colors from his work remind the viewer that the beauty of Han Bok (traditional Korean clothing), at the same time, a very classical European lady, and the Venus somehow. All of these feelings naturally become an oasis where the viewer's body and soul can rest for a while.
